About Tony Broome

Hi, this is Tony Broome
Thanks, for visiting my About page.
I’m just a simple, down-to-earth guy who has lived since 1957 from premature birth and blindness shortly after, because of receiving too much oxygen concentration, which almost destroyed the retinas of my eyes. I only therefore have light perception, but I enjoy sharing Jesus, the real Light of the world with everyone who will listen.
Fortunately, I became a Christian at an early age. This saved me from many of the pitfalls so many of our young people and even older people find themselves enslaved in. The call to gospel ministry followed shortly after my conversion. Many years have passed since November, 1971 when, the Lord impressed upon my heart and life his purpose for me. I have not been perfect by a long stretch of the imagination and have missed the mark many times. However, my triumphs have been much more than my tragedies and I have been privileged to live many years involved in gospel ministry; music, preaching, Christian radio, and now, podcasting, nursing home outreach, Bible teacher, and pastor of senior adult ministries at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.
My wife Peggy and I, along with our dogs Savannah, Chachi, and Little One, live in Henderson, North Carolina, which is about 45 miles north of Raleigh.
Visit Tony Broome Ministries Website.
Feel free to sign up to follow my blog, listen to the podcast episodes, pray for the ministry, and tell others the good news.
I enjoy people, pets, pc’s, podcasting, and pretty much any thing that promotes an uplift or smile to others.
My favorite bible verse without a doubt is, First Peter chapter 2 verse 9:
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light!
